Job Description
As Lead II, you will play a critical role in overseeing our Team Members and Shift Leads and ensuring a vibrant, professional, and efficient work environment.
You will lead by example, setting the standard for excellence and en-chuzey-asm in every aspect of our operations, with a strong focus on enhancing the the member experience and team development.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Lead your team and set the example in welcoming, greeting, and interacting with all members, prospective members, and guests.
Ability to identify deficits and improve upon current standards and processes
- Collaborate with your team to ensure the gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean by completing daily cleaning tasks
- Membership sign-ups and prospect tours, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, managing escalated member concerns, and making and serving smoothies, if applicable
- Maintain knowledge and assist members with all amenities, membership information and offerings, fitness programs, and equipment functions
- Ensure proper completion of opening and closing responsibilities, breaking employees for lunches and maintaining appropriate staff levels, and completing inventory counts and orders
- Supervise member management software reports and process data entry. Manage front desk administrative duties as needed
- Train and develop the team by providing coaching, ensuring timely completion of online training courses, and provide feedback to management for performance reviews
- Collaborate with the management team to onboard and recruit new team members

Qualifications
Required
- At least 2+ years of customer service experience
- Previous experience leading a team
- Ability to work varied hours regularly, including weekends and opening / closing shifts
- Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone
- Ability to receive and deliver feedback
- Ability to multi-task and handle shifting priorities
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork-based work style
- Physical requirements :
- Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
- Touring the gym : walking and climbing stairs
- Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
- Standing for long periods
- Computer operations
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Preferred
- High school graduate or GED
- Personal interest in Fitness
- Volunteer / community involvement
