Responsibilities :

Systems Management : Using and maintaining revenue accounting systems and tools, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Journal Entries : Preparing and posting journal entries for revenue transactions and adjustments.

Audit Support : Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for revenue-related inquiries.

Variance Analysis : Conducting variance analysis to compare actual revenue against forecasts and budgets, identifying and explaining discrepancies.

Systems Management : Using and maintaining revenue accounting systems and tools, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Reconciliations : Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reconciliations to ensure all revenue is accurately reported.

Contract Review and Analysis : Reviewing sales contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.

Revenue Month end close responsibility.

Discrepancy Resolution : Identifying and investigating discrepancies or variances in revenue records, determining the root cause, and making necessary adjustments.

Key Skills and Qualifications :

Accounting Knowledge : Prefer strong understanding of revenue recognition principles.

Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reconciliations.

Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in NetSuite accounting software and Microsoft products (Excel / Access), and comfortable with large data sets.

Problem-Solving : Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.

Organizational Skills : Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education :

A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. This foundational education provides essential knowledge in financial accounting, managerial accounting and business principles.

Base compensation for this role is : $80,000.00 - $101,300.00 annual salary. In addition to the base pay this position includes a variable compensation.

The role might also be potentially eligible to long term Incentive. The final package may vary and will be determined by various factors including candidate profile and ideal qualifications as well as specific cost of living circumstances in some specific locations.
