Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager looking to advance their career.
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and contributing to strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process.
- Provide leadership and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and drive business growth.
- Assist in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience in the sports, entertainment, or ticketing industry is a plus, but not required.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
