Summary of Responsibilities
As a Production Manager, you will oversee residential construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety, quality, and budget standards.
You'll spend 30-40% of your time on-site, conducting inspections and resolving issues, and the rest in the office, managing schedules, providing updates to senior management, and driving process improvements to support a collaborative team.
Essential Functions
- Manage and coordinate all phases of residential construction projects from start to finish
- Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
- Supervise and support construction teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve any issues that arise during construction
- Monitor project budgets and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management
- Lead and inspire the team by driving system and process improvements, spearheading growth initiatives, and fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- 10+ years in residential construction
- 10+ years of leadership / management experience
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
- Experience building material lists
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
Compensation
- $75,000-$90,000 salary
