HOW THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Provides engineering and programming support to projects and infrastructure support activities.
• Designs and develops enterprise applications in a Web environment.
• Develops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
• Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
• Designs software or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
• May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• May manage websites including design, develop, deploy and maintain activities as well as performs testing and quality assurance of web sites and web applications.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED :

• Education : BA / BS (or equivalent experience)
• Required Experience : 8+ years of relevant experience

Required Technical Skills :

Experience implementing micro services; Experience implementing AWS cloud solutions; Experience with automated CI / CD pipelines;

Experience with distributed data architectures

Required Skills and Abilities : Government customer architecture / engineering board experience; Experience discussing technical topics with non-technical people;

Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills : Puppet module development; Terraform development; Jenkins job development

The likely salary range for this position is $148,750 - $201,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
