Responsibilities
- Providing expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including separation agreements and non-competition agreements.
- Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Conducting thorough and detailed legal research to support case preparation.
- Counseling employers regarding compliance with state and federal laws governing employee rights.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.
- Collaborating with a team of legal professionals to develop strategies for complex cases.
- Staying updated on current laws and regulations related to labor and employment law.
- Mentoring junior associates and contributing to the firm\'s knowledge base.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.A minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment law.Demonstrated experience with separation agreements and non-competition agreements.Admission to the state bar.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.High degree of professional ethics and integrity.Why join us?
