The Manager of Flight Support will be an innovate and strategic leader focused on building an industry leading Flight Support, Crew Scheduling, Logistics, and Operations team.

  • Actively participates in and contributes to our Safety Management System.
  • Responsible for identifying safety, regulatory non-compliance, and ineffective processes. Will then propose new or updated processes and corrective strategies to correct findings.
  • Supervises and trains a team of Duty Managers, Flight Operations Specialists, designated to hold operational control, Flight Operations Specialists, Travel Coordinators, and Maintenance Controllers.??
  • Develops and maintains effective processes and standards while developing the TOCC team toward achieving departmental goals, department standards, individual professional development, and driving metrics for key performance indicators.?
  • Leads the TOCC planning and execution of all flight activity never compromising safety, while driving toward Company dispatch reliability targets, and efficiency operations goals to include :
  • Managing the processing of flight availability requests.
  • Managing flight planning, maintenance control and planning, flight capability requests, flight support, flight following, and company and crew travel coordination.
  • Manages the coordination of all requests from our Client Advisors for all flight related activities to be performed on any aircraft operated on Thrive Aviations Operator Certificate.
  • Manages logistic support services to include fuel uplift, ground handling services, and the vendor contracts that support these services.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekend, and holidays.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management or Senior Leadership

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger and required to reach with hands and arms.

There is no significant standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. The person in this position needs to be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Work Environment :

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while in an office environment.

The work is typically done while sitting at a desk or table.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Experience and Qualifications :

The most successful candidate in the position will meet most, if not all, of the following criteria.

  • Bachelors degree in aviation, Business Administration, or related field is preferred; AND / OR
  • 5-7 years of relevant leadership experience in Aviation in Logistics, Support, Operations or another related field
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage projects efficiently and effectively.
  • High degree of organization and attention to detail with the ability to adapt in quickly changing environments and shifting priorities.
  • The ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed or as part of a regular schedule.
  • Expert level knowledge of 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 operating requirements and regulations
  • Experience with FL3XX or other aviation logistics software highly desired
  • High degree of confidentiality and the ability to treat all matters with the appropriate discretion.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willing to take on new challenges as the company grows.
