Systems Reliability Engineer (Remote)
Our client is seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer to manage and support cloud-based data pipelines and integrations. This role will focus on machine learning and rules-based classification applications in support of clinical insights initiatives.
As part of a team of software and data engineers, you’ll collaborate with data scientists to drive innovation.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning the support model, building processes from scratch, and communicating progress without becoming a bottleneck.

Top 3 Required Skillsets :
- Proficiency with AWS Services (API Gateway, AWS Lambda, SQS, S3)
- Proficiency in Java 17 & Python 3
- Experience in supporting and monitoring web applications and APIs (Datadog)
Nice to Have Skillsets :
- Familiarity with Rules Engines (Drools)
- Experience with AWS MySQL Aurora or other relational databases
- Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions
Additional Skills :
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman)
- Familiarity with CI / CD systems
- Experience with Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams in an Agile / Scrum environment
- Innovate in technology, processes, and development practices
- Manage and optimize cloud-based systems and integrations
Qualifications :
- Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud services
- Strong coding skills in Java and Python
- Experience with continuous integration / deployment (CI / CD) , monitoring, and API testing tools
- Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) is a plus
