Summary : The Business Services Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight of employer engagement and business development initiatives across all regions. This role ensures that Business Consultants, Recruiters (I–III), and supporting staff deliver high-quality services to employers, job seekers, and workforce partners in alignment with workforce board priorities, contractual performance standards, and labor market needs. The Manager represents SERCO at the board, community, and industry levels, ensuring that services are responsive, data-driven, and contribute to workforce development goals.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Oversight

• Directly supervise Business Services Unit Supervisors, Lead Business Consultants, and senior Recruiters.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure staff meet compliance, quality, and performance expectations.
• Manage workload distribution, staff scheduling, and ensure accurate and timely payroll submission for assigned staff.
• Serve as point of escalation for employer relations, staff challenges, or operational concerns.

1. Must possess and provide a valid Texas Driver’s License and Automobile Liability Insurance as required by the State of Texas.

2. Must have access to reliable transportation in order to travel within service area.

2. WORK ENVIRONMENT : Fast-paced, demanding both, physically and mentally, and in constant communication.
