Job Details

Overview :

Design, evaluate, and maintain Electrical / Electromechanical products within the product line. The role involves leading projects, solving technical challenges, and working with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and support multiple engineering projects from concept to completion, including certification.
  • Display technical expertise in areas like PCB design, power electronics, and automation.
  • Develop firmware / software to enable control functionality.
  • Innovate and contribute to consumer-focused and strategic business projects.
  • Create and manage product bills of materials and drawings for production.
  • Build and test engineering prototypes and circuit boards.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant technologies and design tools.

Required :

  • 5+ years of relevant experience (MS degree may replace 1-2 years).
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited).
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Proficiency in electrical theory and industry practices.
  • Experience in PCB design using EDA software.
  • Ability to write embedded software in C and / or C++.
  • Capable of using electrical assembly tools and measuring devices.
  • Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Nice to Haves :

  • Experience in UL and EN / IEC product safety certification.
  • Familiarity with EMC / EMI standards.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
