We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manufacturing Strategy Lead. We will consider Director to Senior Director candidates.
What You'll Do
- As a Director with Slalom Strategy, you will be responsible for leading the development, growth, and quality execution of our strategic work with c-level clients
- Leverage your deep manufacturing subject matter expertise, industry leadership, and ability to challenge the status quo to deliver inspired strategy work with our clients
- Grow and shape the team and upskill our consultants through leadership and mentoring
- Cultivate the next generation offerings, solutions, thought leadership and trends for the manufacturing industry
- Be responsible for utilization and revenue outcomes
- Build relationships within Slalom and with senior and executive clients to sell engagements and drive business development
- Be responsible for the outcomes of delivery and hands-on involvement whenever needed
- Develop and promote innovative manufacturing solutions, methodologies, and proposals
- Identify opportunities to create new offerings and lead / curate long-term capability area plans

What You'll Bring
- Big-picture thinking and passion for helping organizations solve their most critical, complex business challenges, as well as an understanding of broad business / industry themes and technology
- 10+ years of directly related management consulting experience or a blend of consulting and industry leadership experience
- Natural curiosity for understanding the "why" and the "how" with the ability to identify where improvements might be needed or add value
- Intimate knowledge of trends and how they can impact, inform, and realize a manufacturing organization's strategy
- In-depth business and financial acumen and an ability to craft a clear and motivating vision as well as the business plans to carry it out
- Tactical hands-on delivery skills as well as the ability to research, analyze and recommend approaches for solving challenging business strategy or technology problems
- Passion about leading the sales process for an opportunity, selling with the same rigor that we deliver, strategizing a deal, and proven ability to win complex pursuits
- Ability to formulate strategies that establish and enable our clients' business goals, driving top and / or bottom-line growth
- People leadership experience and the ability to create an environment that inspires learning, risk-taking, and innovation

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In New York, the base salary pay range for this position is $192,000 to $307,000 for Directors and $225,000 to $359,000 for Senior Directors.
In New Jersey and Washington, the base salary pay range for this position is $175,000 to $281,000 for Directors and $206,000 to $329,000 for Senior Directors.
In Colorado, the base salary pay range for this position is $161,000 to $258,000 for Directors and $189,000 to $302,000 for Senior Directors.
In California, the base salary pay range for this position is $161,000 to $307,000 for Directors and $189,000 to $359,000 for Senior Directors.
In Detroit, the base salary pay range for this position is $161,000 to $258,000 for Directors and $189,000 to $302,000 for Senior Directors.
The targeted base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $230,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
