IGT is seeking an Electronics Repair Technician II to join our newly established Repair Depot Center in our Reno, Nevada headquarters.

The repair technician will provide a variety of duties related to the reconditioning of electronic gaming machine parts for our customers and field service offices.

• Refurbish electronic gaming machine parts according to IGT quality standards.
• Perform tests to troubleshoot and determine the cause of failure using diagnostic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and test fixtures.
• Perform repairs down to the board and component level.
• Use of solder stations to perform rework of surface mount or through-hole components.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of related experience is required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Self-managed and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
• Ability to maintain an active presence standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Capable of lifting and maneuvering a minimum of 30 pounds safely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate or associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in high-tech electronics or consumer goods.
• Soldering experience, surface mount, and through hole.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location.

These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $20 / hr - $23 / hr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower.

The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
