For the 2024-2025 school year, we accept students from MA, MSW, and MCFT degree programs in Corvallis, Portland, Salem, Bend and The Dalles.
Our interns gain valuable experience working with children and families who have and are experiencing trauma and mental illness.
In this role, interns learn how to engage with clients, conduct individual and family therapy, facilitate group therapy, conduct, and document clinical assessments, create treatment plans, and participate in successful utilization reviews with funders.
Internship Summary : Unpaid learning opportunity with close supervision from the assigned clinical supervisor, observes and provides family, individual and group therapy.
Observes and conducts assessment interviews with clients and families. Position is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Treatment Plan, by integrating assessment data from other members of the treatment team.
With supervisor guidance, provides clinical recommendations to other members of the treatment team, facilitates treatment interventions, and works with resources in the community on behalf of clients and families.
Follows and completes all additional requirements from the intern’s educational institution.

Interns must successfully pass a background check, receive positive references, and be tested for TB exposure (post acceptance), similar to our employees.
