Senior DevOps Engineer

We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a world-class software team in Santa Clara (Hybrid).

This is a leading international semiconductor company building AI processors that are transforming computer vision, language processing, reinforcement learning and a lot more.

Job Description :

You'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our automated testing infrastructure for various platforms.

You'll collaborate closely with software engineering teams to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality software to our customers.

Responsibilities :

• Contribute to the design and enhancement of automated testing infrastructures for GPU, Enterprise, Automotive, and Mobile Tegra platforms.
• Develop and enhance modules for generic frameworks and harness using Python or similar languages.
• Improve and maintain our infrastructure codebase to support scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with software engineering and product teams to streamline software production, testing, and delivery processes.
• Develop and implement test plans, modify existing test infrastructures, and create new test suites as necessary.
• Participate in bring-up tasks for new GPU, Enterprise, and Tegra platforms / chips.
• Debug and fix issues with existing and new tests, system configurations, and hardware setups.

Qualifications :

• Solid object-oriented programming skills in Python
• Experience with Linux development tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience designing large systems.
• Knowledge of CI / CD systems, with hands-on experience in Docker and virtualization.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience maintaining cloud infrastructure and highly available production environments.
• 8+ years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Ability to analyze situations and troubleshoot effectively using various tools and problem-solving techniques.
• Experience with data analytics / visualization tools like Kibana, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Prior experience managing large-scale infrastructure.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Background in computer algorithms.
