Day-to-day Bookkeeping and Accounting

All accounts payable / receivable activities.

Prepare and make all bank deposits.

Process and Post all credit card transactions.

Assign new part numbers as needed.

Enter all BOM's

Prepare EOM Accruals.

Parts check in of customer returns.

Reinforce timely invoicing.

Track standard costs and BOMs

Incoming inventory and assembly transactions in Misys (inventory system), +MS production and PO receipts

Maintain part number and cost information

Payroll Administration : Communicate Weekly time cards and changes with payroll service.

Inventory System :

Perform transactions in our Misys inventory system.

Participate in upgrading our inventory system.

Closing transactions :

Work with our accounting firm for inputs to annual compilation review

Lead annual physical inventory

Figure company sales and use, real property taxes

Office :

Maintain safe work environment

Assist in answering incoming phone calls and taking orders

Prepare price sheets, updates

Assist management team as requested

Participate on office team

Requirements :

Impeccable trustworthiness

2+ years appropriate range of accounting experience

Associate degree in accounting or similar experience

Strong work ethic and demonstrated high feeling of responsibility

Manufacturing and standard costing exposure

Willingness to pitch in and help with non-accounting tasks

Some Experience with an MRP or integrated inventory system
