Responsibilities :
- Market Analysis : Conduct thorough analyses ofmarket trends and competitive pricing to inform strategicdecisions.
- Rate Negotiation : Negotiate rateswith carriers to secure the best possible terms for our services.
- Pricing Strategy Development : Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to create and refine pricing structures thatare both competitive and profitable.
- Compliance Management : Ensure all pricingstrategies and activities comply with FMC regulations.
- Operational Collaboration : Work alongside theoperations team to identify needs for network improvements orsystem designs that enhance profitability.
- Sales Support : Provide the sales team withbusiness intelligence reports focusing on niche markets andemerging trends.
- Performance Monitoring : Trackturnover and respond swiftly to market changes ensuring deadlinesare met and previous strategies are adjusted as necessary.
Requirements / Qualifications :
- HS diploma with desired experience or bachelors degree in a related major.
- 2 years ofexperience in international sea freight (FCL and LCL) pricing
- Strong analytical skills and the ability tointerpret complex market data.
- Provenexperience in rate negotiation and pricing strategy development.
- Familiarity with FMC regulations andcompliance requirements.
- Excellentcollaboration skills with the ability to work effectively acrossvarious teams.
- Ability to thrive in afastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills both written andverbal.
