JOB PURPOSE :
- Responsible for supporting the PSL budget process that includes updating and developing the tools used to complete the work.
- Responsible for assisting with scenarios, financial projections and forecasts.
- Responsible for supporting or managing financial analysis or modeling projects.
- Assists with maintaining and administering Prophix system for financial reporting and budgeting and trains new team members.
- Completes special projects and assists finance & accounting department with other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and at least five years of general ledger accounting, auditing or financial analysis experience, preferably in healthcare.
- Experience in working with computerized accounting and other systems required.
- Ability to organize and analyze large sets of data. Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel required
- Limited travel may be necessary.
