Well, this position is for you! Active Day is looking for enthusiastic leaders who are outstanding at developing activities based on the needs and interests of our members while ensuring socialization, engagement, well-being, and FUN.
Our Activities Managers are the heart of our program, facilitating and overseeing individual and group therapeutic recreational programs.

Responsibilities
Our Activities Managers have many EXCITING responsibilities, including but not limited to :
Developing, planning, organizing, and implementing diverse and creative therapeutic recreational programs for members;
drafting and publishing related calendars and communications.
- Providing direct care to members to include ADL’s and IADL’s.
- Overseeing team members and volunteers.
- Actively participating in safety and quality initiatives, care planning conferences, and ongoing assessments.
- Staying current on related industry knowledge and thinking outside the box!
- Bringing FUN, LAUGHTER, and JOY to the lives of our members!
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- College Degree preferred; high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) will be considered.
- At least three years of experience in activities coordination or therapeutic recreation for : Older Adults;Individuals with disabilities;
- Other special populations;
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- This is an ACTIVE job (we are ACTIVE DAY after all!) and physical requirements include but not limited to : Push, pull, squat, turn, pivot, transfer and lift at least 50 pounds.
Sit, Stand and / or Walk for extended period of time while providing physical assistance to members.
