GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
The purpose of this position is to support the Property Management Department at CRT with administrative and Property Management tasks.
This position is based out of the CRT Building located at 555 Windsor ST Hartford but will consist of travel to the various properties in the Hartford Area and will work directly with and assist the Property Manager.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Requires in-person communication with Property Manager, CRT Accounting Staff, Facilities Dept and Maintenance Staff and Residents.
- Respond to Ring Central and Smart Sheet Inquiries; Maintain Quality Control Spreadsheet of Communications.
- Receiving and responding to calls / emails from Residents, Subsidy Providers, Internal Staff and Facility Dept.
- Filing of Tenant Documents; Resident Files, Accounting Document Binders, Subsidy Documents, etc. as needed.
- Purge Resident Files and Prepare Archive Boxes for Storage.
- Enter Work Order Requests in Boston Post and Assist Facility Dept with Resident Communication for Access Coordination if needed.
- Prepare and Mail Monthly Annual Recertification Packages for Resident Annual Recertifications.
- Assist Residents with Completing their Annual Recertification Documents properly for Owner and Subsidy Providers.
- Prepare Mailings for Various Properties for : Notices, Newsletters, Monthly Rent Bills, Monthly Annual Renewal Packages, Waitlist Purge, Outreach Notices etc.
- Attend Subsidy Provider Unit Inspections and Conduct Unit Inspections with Property Manager for CRT Property Portfolio;
Complete Inspection Reports and Take Photos as needed.
- May Require Reviewing Security Camera Footage.
- Perform other Duties as Assigned.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Education : High School Diploma required. COS Certified (Certified Occupancy Specialist) preferred, but some demonstrated property management background and being bilingual would be helpful.
Demonstrated Skills : Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and to exercise sound independent judgment. Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to relate to people with courtesy and tact. Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage time efficiently and to set appropriate priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge : Microsoft Software Applications inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint at an intermediate level required, and helpful to have Boston Post Software experience, but will train.

Physical Ability : Tasks involve sedentary to light work, involving some reaching, handling, fingering and / or feeling of objects and materials.
Must be able to push, pull, and lift 15 lbs.
Sensory Requirements : Some tasks require visual perception and discrimination. Some tasks require oral communication ability.
Environmental Factors : Tasks are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, animals / wildlife, toxic / poisonous agents, violence, disease, or pathogenic substances.
