What You’ll Do :
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to help children with Autism build important skills and improve behavior.
- Work with a team to carry out individualized treatment plans.
- Record your sessions using simple electronic systems.
- Build connections with children and their families to create a positive, supportive environment.
- Work closely with supervisors and families to ensure effective treatment.
What You Need :
- Enrolled in a psychology program or related field.
- A passion for helping children with Autism and learning about behavior therapy.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenges calmly.
Key Information :
- Work takes place in homes or community settings.
- Positions start part-time, with opportunities to grow.
- You’ll need to complete a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) course.
- A minimum 6-month commitment is required to ensure progress for the children.
