About the Job :

As a Regional Medical Officer (RMO) , you will play a critical leadership role in delivering high-quality care and ensuring superior health outcomes for seniors across your assigned region.

You will oversee interdisciplinary care teams (IDTs), provide direct medical care, and be the accountable medical leader for clinical outcomes and quality results.

The RMO will work closely with clinical teams, community partners, and corporate sponsors to lead and deliver participant care.

You will support clinics, be active in the community, and visit participants in their homes as needed.

What You'll Do :

  • Lead clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with the PACE model.
  • Oversee clinical operations across the region, ensuring optimal health outcomes and quality of care.
  • Provide direct medical care, including diagnosis, evaluation, documentation, and management of medical conditions.
  • Serve as interim Medical Director in new or transitioning markets, managing patient panels as needed.
  • Develop and implement the Quality Improvement and Performance Improvement Program (QAPI) for the region.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with provider network partners, community-based organizations, and corporate sponsors.
  • Guide interdisciplinary care teams (IDTs) to provide evidence-based, cost-effective care to PACE program participants.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to monitor clinical utilization trends and develop intervention strategies.
  • Actively engage with community outreach, marketing, and activities to promote membership growth and referrals.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, regular meetings, and consultations with Medical Directors.
  • Be the external clinical voice of the organization, representing Our Client in your assigned region.

What You'll Bring :

  • MD or DO with active board certification in geriatrics, complex care, home-based care, palliative care, internal medicine, or related clinical areas.
  • At least 10 years of medical practice experience, with a minimum of 5 years working with elderly or frail populations.
  • Experience in a PACE model or similar capitated, integrated care environment is preferred.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license and DEA certificate.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred but not required.
  • A passion for serving high-risk seniors and a commitment to improving care outcomes.
