- Perform required operations or otherwise modify or repair broken or worn wood, metal and plastic patterns, core boxes of moderate complexity.
- Work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications and / or verbal or written instructions to complete projects under limited supervision.
- Select materials, lay out, cut, form, fit and assemble parts as required.
- Use measuring instruments and machines incidental to operations.
- Maintain the pattern shop in a clean and orderly manner
- Pay starting at $14 to $15 / hour
Requirements of the position are as follows :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Understanding of and ability to read shop orders required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
