This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM CST.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Manager, Genetic Counseling Services - Pediatrics to :

• Lead overall planning and daily supervision of all operational aspects and activities for Genetic Counseling services.
• Address administrative and management issues to optimize efficiency and team morale.
• Partner with clinic management and medical leadership at the historic UW Waisman Center.

Education :

Minimum - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Preferred - Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology or Genetics

Work Experience :

Minimum - Five (5) years relevant health care experience with a clinical or provider workforce

Preferred -

• Five (5) years relevant health care experience in an academic medical center
• Two (2) years of management experience

Licenses and Certifications :

Preferred -

• Licensed as a Genetic Counselor in the state of Wisconsin
• National certification in genetic counseling through ABGC.
