Job Title : Electrical Test Engineer
Location : Mossville, IL
Salary / Pay Rate : $40-$44 / hr on W2
Day-to-day : Test planning, monitoring if test is ready to run. Setup, Test, Test equipment, Documentation, and reporting
Specific responsibilities included but not limited to :
- Maintain world-class Power Electronics lab facilities, with a top focus on safety
- Execute work planned by the Validation Engineers and documented in DFMEA's
- Plan, setup, instrument, run, teardown, document, and share test results
- Document issues discovered during testing in PPRD / myNPI system and support design teams with issue resolution
- Follow the Caterpillar Quality Management System (CQMS) for ISO9001
- Conduct monthly safety walks in all lab locations and new test setups
