JOB SUMMARY : The role challenges the incumbent to regularly compile payroll data from time sheets and other records. The incumbent will be tasked with preparation of payroll through the use of automated systems to ensure accurate calculations, data integrity, recovery of overpayments, and compliance with regulations
Payroll Specialist
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Routinely execute record keeping and payroll processing activities for exempt and nonexempt employees.
2. Process wage garnishments, child supports & tax levies according to established standards.
3. Handle payroll related customer inquiries in an effective and accurate way, ensuring all inquiries are addressed and / or resolved within a set service level agreement.
4. Create and prepare payroll reports and special management request reports.
5. Research payroll issues or special projects as needed.
6. Perform biweekly reconciliation processes and associated analyses of payroll and related accounts
7. Reconcile errors and ensure accuracy of payroll records.
8. Enter personnel transactions to the system of record in an accurate and timely manner
9. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
10. Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data and records.
11. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
12. Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values.
