Salary : $110,000$125,000 / year + project completion & performance bonuses

Overview

Im working with a well-established Commercial General Contractor based in San Diego thats seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join their growing team. This role will take ownership of the estimating and preconstruction processdeveloping accurate budgets, competitive bids, and supporting successful project launches across a range of ground-up and civil commercial projects .

Key Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to ensure complete and accurate estimates.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Evaluate costs, schedules, and logistics to develop comprehensive project budgets.
• Coordinate RFIs and clarify design intent with architects and engineers as needed.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal teams throughout the pre-bid and post-bid process.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and project partners.
