These are Mechanical and Structural designs of non-pressure assemblies, pressure parts, structural component assemblies and detail drawings of equipment.
Tasks / Responsibilities : Prepare major component sub-assembly, sections and detail drawings, calculations, bill of materials and 3D models for Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and associated equipment.
Supervise the development of drawings. Review project customer specificationsPrepare major assembly, section and detail drawings and itemized bill of materialsCoordinate with Associate Project Engineer on the project to which they are assignedCommunicate and assist other departments with calculations and datasheetsGenerate weight calculations for parts, sub-assemblies, and assembliesDevelop and maintain 3D model of piping and equipmentProvide thorough checking of drawings and bill of materialsAssist with the review of vendor generated drawingsRevise drawingsCreate project as-built drawings if requiredAssist in development of General Arrangement and Setting drawingEducation / Experience : BS or associate's degree preferred.
Comparable experience acceptableThree (3) years CAD design experience (HRSG CAD design or similar preferred)Experience with Autodesk suite of design software (AutoCAD, Plant3D, Navisworks, Revit, Inventor, etc.
Demonstrated excellent analytical and computer skills required Knowledge of ASME codes and product application (preferred not required)Must be organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position.
