Off the ice, the business is experiencing growth across all key metrics and our revenue is at an all-time high. The organization is expanding outside of Amerant Bank Arena via the renovation of the FTL War Memorial / Baptist Health IcePlex in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

This state-of-the-art ice facility will feature two regulation-size rinks, including a team practice rink with stadium seating, the Panthers’ new practice facilities spanning over 33,000 sq.

ft. of offices and off-ice training facilities, and a 4,000-capacity music theatre for live entertainment. The future is bright, and we are very proud of what we are building in South Florida.

Job Summary :

The FTL War Memorial Marketing Manager will be responsible for branding efforts and in-depth marketing campaigns in the South Florida market for the Florida Panthers all new practice facility, community rinks and concert venue - Baptist Health IcePlex @ FTL War Memorial, as well as, assisting with marketing for the Panthers IceDen.

We're seeking an experienced marketing leader who is not afraid to push boundaries, explore creative promotions and events, drive data collection initiatives and implement strategy to amplify fan engagement and brand awareness throughout South Florida.

This outstanding individual will play a key role across the marketing team's strategy, planning and execution with a strong focus on results.

Job Functions :

Specific duties include but are not limited to :

  • Lead FTL War Memorial progress communication, grand opening, ribbon cutting and launch events marketing plan
  • Support organizational planning and campaign development alongside the overall marketing plan and vision
  • Build brand awareness and drive foot traffic for the new complex and the different business within it : Baptist Health Iceplex, FLA Team Shop, FTL War Memorial Auditorium and The Federal
  • Strategize cross-marketing opportunities between FTL War Memorial, Florida Panthers, Amerant Bank Arena events, and FLA Team Shop
  • Collaborate closely with various departments in the organization including PR, Community Relations, Grassroots Initiatives, Sales, Foundation, Operations, Sponsorships, and more
  • Manage the implementation of internal & external marketing assets including graphics, video ads, print artwork, digital banners, billboards, radio spots, TV spots, and more
  • Develop and execute marketing proposals and partnerships inclusive of traditional and experiential opportunities
  • Establish and implement digital marketing strategy via organic social, paid social and SEM, as well as, oversee FTL War Memorial website updates.
  • Work with the email marketing team to build database and utilize automation as a tool in the digital marketing tool kit.
  • Work closely with FTL War Memorial Auditorium, Baptist Health IcePlex, and Panthers IceDen management teams to maintain a current marketing calendar and implement marketing plans for programming, concerts and events

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Minimum 3-4 years marketing experience in managing brand awareness and sales campaigns, media buying, OOH marketing, paid digital media and database growth
  • Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, develop strategy, problem solve and execute day-to-day tactics
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Must have experience creating in-depth marketing plans while owning and overseeing multiple functional areas
  • High level of interpersonal people skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office : Word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint, plus Canva or Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Must possess a positive, can do’ attitude and be driven to achieve results

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :

This is an exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
