Job Description
Radiology Technologists at HMC perform a variety of procedures, including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT and Surgery and are responsible for patient safety protocols.
Our Radiology Techs function as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.
The PRN position is mainly a night shift position 6pm to 6 : 30 am, 4 or 5 nights a month. There is a $2.00 per hour shift differential for third shift.
- Graduation from an accredited / approved school of radiology
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Valid Illinois Radiology License
- CPR / AED and CT certifications are preferred but not required
Physical Demands
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and move between tasks.
Ability to hear and converse on the phone and in person.
Ability to perform fine motor tasks, such as when working with the computer, writing or phone tasks.
Ability to twist / bend, stoop / crouch and to climb or balance when moving or retrieving inventory from shelves
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds and to push / pull.
Ability to work first or second shift type hours.
Compensation details : 27-30 Hourly Wage
