Class Description
The purpose of this class is to provide professional level support service to students, staff and / or alumni.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, social sciences, business, marketing, or a related field is required. Three (3) years of full-time experience in education or recruitment required.
Experience includes secondary education, higher education, enrollment management, community outreach, program coordinator, or developing outreach programs.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and / or years of experience in the field.
Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale .

Class Specific Essential Duties
- Provides leadership and / or support to assigned College division and / or function.
- Assists with the development and implementation of policies, procedures and / or initiatives.
- Remains knowledgeable about the College, its structure, culture, policies and practices.
- Serves as a point of contact for internal and external organizations.
- Conducts workshops and presentations, as required.
- Serves on appropriate departmental, division and college-wide committees.
- Prepares, analyzes and provides reports on miscellaneous subjects, as requested.

Position Specific Essential Duties
- Provides outstanding service to students and other internal and external customers.
- Recruits future graduates to all educational opportunities, both credit and workforce, offered by the College
- Develops and implements strategic and tactical plans to achieve established recruitment goals.
- Provides leadership and coordination for an assigned recruitment outreach program. This may include developing and coordinating information sessions or other on-campus recruitment activities;
external outreach programs; or special events.
- Collects, documents, and reports out data from recruitment activities.
- Builds relationships with a variety of internal and external constituencies including prospective students, parents, secondary school personnel, and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process.
- Conducts ongoing communications with prospective students through a variety of methods including in-person appointments, phone calls, emails, information sessions, high school visits, college fairs, and other events.
- Collects inquiries and convert them to applicants while providing assistance through each step of the enrollment process.
- Maintains, reviews, and evaluates application-related materials.
- Assists with recruitment initiatives designed to affect the growth of special populations.
- Maintains accurate records on recruitment efforts and assists the Assistant Director with the compilation of data related to the effectiveness of efforts and initiatives.
- Works independently within a team on special and ongoing projects.
- Assists the Assistant Director, Admissions with program development and strategic planning, and monitors priorities and progress towards the Department’s goals.
