the IndustrialAutomation Engineer will report to either the InstallationSupervisor Team Leader or Operations Manager and will beresponsible for supporting our Project Managers with creatinginstalling and commissioning of PLC / HMI based systems as well asnetwork and device integration work.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- The following duties are typical for this job.These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive.Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Project start up program and commission new PLC / HMIcontrol systems service and maintenance of existing installationsfault diagnoses hardware repairs and programming bug fixes andalterations.
- Provide technical support oncompany sponsored products to customers and other companytechnicians.
- Diagnose and resolve technicalproblems on jobs and provide appropriate reports to projectmanagement.
- Attend project turnover meetingwith project manager to gain knowledge of project estimate andscope.
- Organize and maintain control submittalproject redlines and submit to design engineer at project end foras built drawing creation.
- Participate injobsite final walkthroughs complete job closeout documentationprovide customer training.
- Work with othertechnicians to develop and share technical solutions.
- Actively participate in technician training to maintaintechnical expertise on new products tools and integration throughcontinuing education initiatives
- Accuratedaily time and equipment reporting
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities : (Hiring CompaniesATS Questions) :
1.Do you have a minimum of three years of experience with PLC / HMIcontrol system preferred.
2. Do you have workingknowledge of at least one PLC software (i.e. Rockwell RSLogix orModicon Unity Pro)
3. Do you have workingknowledge of at least one HMI software (i.e. Rockwell FactoryTalkor Wonderware InTouch)
4. Do you have knowledgeof common Windows Office applications
5. Do youhave knowledge of Microsoft SQL or other database applicationspreferred but not required.
6. Do you haveknowledge of Ethernet and serial network communication formats andhardware configurations
7. Do you haveunderstanding of basic process controls (i.e. PID control loopsmotor control commissioning of digital and analog measurementdevices)
8. Must be a US Citizen or Green Cardholder.
