The Division of Adult Education is currently accepting applications for a part-time instructor to provide Math and Science instruction in our Adult Basic Education (ABE) department.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction and obtains or prepares instructional materials for classroom use · Provides learner guidance to students · Evaluates students’ ongoing progress and performance in attaining goals and objectives · Promotes the adult education program to public and private organizations throughout the Service Delivery Area of the college · Participates in the EAGLE competition · Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports · Participates in staff development and team conferences · Maintains a secure classroom environment · Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Two (2) years’ related work experience · Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with math focus
