Job Description :
The Department of Management at the Western Kentucky University Gordon Ford College of Business invites candidates to submit their qualifications for a traditional-track, tenure-eligible, faculty appointment at the rank of assistant professor with a focus on strategy.
The anticipated start date for this position is August 15, 2025.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach classes at the undergraduate and / or graduate levels in areas of principles of management, strategy, and other courses as determined.
The candidate should also be able to work collegially with faculty and have the willingness and ability to provide service to the institution, profession and community.
Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of students, faculty, and staff are integral to this position.
Requirements :
The position requires an earned Ph.D. degree (or ABD with anticipated completion by August, 2025) in Management or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution.
Candidates must also demonstrate evidence of :
- Teaching effectiveness in related fields
- A strong research record or high potential for research productivity
- Excellent communication skills
