Hexcel is currently seeking a Product Manager for our Kent, WA, USA location. You will be responsible for assigned product lines, including forecasting, business case analysis, cost review, and profitability analysis.

This role supports the product management and customer service teams with pricing guidelines and reports to the Group Product Manager within the Engineered Products division.

Summary pay range : $111,925 - $191,871 annual salary. The Program Manager will have a hybrid work arrangement with a general weekly expectation to be on-site 50% of the time and the ability to work remotely 50% of the time.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations :

  • Lead Program Management and Demand / Forecast Analyst teams to meet product goals.
  • Develop pricing strategies for new business opportunities, driving process improvements.
  • Provide product forecasts to support SIOP, Finance, and Sales for strategic planning.
  • Implement product positioning strategies, aligning with pricing, development, and market competition.
  • Drive promotion of assigned product lines in the Aerospace, Defense and Space sectors, ensuring projected annual revenue.
  • Offer expertise on product technologies to internal teams and key customers.
  • Collaborate with Research & Technology and Manufacturing on new product processes and availability. Ensure that optimum communication and coordination is maintained with other functional groups, i.

e. Research & Technology, Production, Sales, Purchasing, Legal, etc.

  • Manage key programs to align with customer needs and market demand.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and track market share for assigned products.
  • Develop talent for succession planning.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field required, MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, preferably in Aerospace or technical manufacturing industry, which may include Engineering, Program Management, and / or Sales / Marketing.
  • Customer and business experience / acumen are required including experience in pricing strategies, proposal development, contract negotiation, interpreting financial models, preparation of product strategies, developing project plans.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Able to lead cross-functional program or product teams.
  • Strong analytical skills as well as Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point) or equivalents, and a working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across all areas of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, drive results, and adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
