Delivery Driver / Attendant
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver / Attendant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house activities, with a primary focus on driving responsibilities.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Delivery Service
- Safely and efficiently deliver products or packages to designated locations.
- Maintain a professional and customer-friendly demeanor during all interactions.
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure its proper functioning.
- Report any maintenance issues promptly to the designated personnel.
- Customer Interaction
- Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Coordination with Front-of-House Team
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Assist in other front-of-house activities as needed.
- Adherence to Safety Standards
- Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to safety and security.
- Record-Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and any customer feedback.
- Report any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with local areas and routes.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to a specified weight limit.
- Comfortable spending extended periods driving.
