We are seeking a Full-time Outreach & Engagement Specialist to Join Our Team!
The Behavioral Wellness Center At Girard, located in the heart of North Central Philadelphia, is a long-standing behavioral health facility that serves a diverse, under-served patient population.
We offer a comprehensive continuum of care in addictive services, from detoxification services to residential care, outpatient services, and acute and sub-acute psychiatric services.
Our mission is to provide quality health care, treatment, prevention, and education in our facilities and the community.
The Outreach and Engagement Specialist is responsible for marketing The Be Well Center programs and services to prospective referral sources.
Will cultivate and sustain positive relationships with D+A providers, assessment sites, and the community to secure new patient referral relationships for the facility.
This is a hands-on position with the requirements to go out into the community and have one-on-one contact with individuals seeking D+A services.
Will be responsible for developing and managing strategies to achieve budgeted goals, particularly the development of referral sources.
Education and Training
MET : High School diploma or equivalent; twelve (12) college credits in Behavioral Health / Human Services or Marketing; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and one (1) year experience working with addicted patients required.
Must be computer literate and possess strong de-escalation skills.
Associate's Degree or higher in Behavioral Health related field OR a Degree in Marketing with two (2) years of Behavioral Health / Human Services experience desired.
Previous marketing experience in the human services field, preferably in substance abuse treatment, and prior outreach and engagement experience is preferred.
Bilingual capabilities (English / Spanish) are a plus. Certified Peer or Recovery Specialists are encouraged to apply.
A total dosage of the COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for this position.
