Interim Medical Staff Services Manager Needed in Texas Healthcare System
The Position
- An Interim Medical Staff Services Manager is needed to provide leadership and operational oversight to the Medical Staff Services department for a healthcare facility in Beaumont.
- This role will report directly to the Regional Chief Medical Officer.
- Responsibilities include overseeing credentialing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, conducting audits on initial and re-credentialing applications, and supporting IT-related issues for medical staff.
- The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Joint Commission, CMS, and other relevant regulations, along with five years of experience as a Medical Services Professional and managerial experience.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field required.
- CPMSM certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services required.
- Previous healthcare experience required.
