Job Title : Automation Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines. You will be tasked with the electrical maintenance of automation machine tools, working across a variety of CNC equipment including mills, lathes, machining centers, and robotics. Your expertise will extend to handling equipment such as P&H cranes / hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools. Additionally, you will repair CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from brands like Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing AC / DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems. You will connect a laptop to machines to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues. A Maintenance Management System (MMS) will be used to generate work orders, and you will log all maintenance performed using a company-provided computer / tablet. You will prioritize machinery repairs based on the value stream of the equipment.

Work Environment
The position is based in a climate-controlled, clean manufacturing facility with a machine shop production environment. Work shifts are off-shift, with two positions on the 2nd shift (3 : 30 PM - 11 : 30 PM) and two on the 3rd shift (11 : 30 PM - 7 : 30 AM). During the initial training period of 2-4 weeks, candidates can expect to work 40 hours a week on a day shift until they are up to speed, after which they will move to their assigned shift. Candidates must be open to both shifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $45.00 / hr.
