Medical Billing Coordinator
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring for a Medical Billing coordinator for our healthcare client located in the Fremont area of Seattle.
This role will be a 100% onsite opportunity and a contract-to-hire role. This role will be focused on the front end of the billing cycle, updating patient demographics, checking eligibility for patient insurances, submitting claims, and other duties as needed.
This person will need a high attention to detail and need to be self-driven and eager to learn.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Billing / Coding Certification strongly desired
- Minimum 2 years medical billing experience
- Proficiency within Microsoft Office and EMR Systems
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and ability to work well independently
- Able to work within different software systems and pick up on different technology quickly
- Ability to remain organized throughout the day and able to prioritize
- Knowledge of ICD 10 and HCPCS codes and insurance companies required
- Proficiency within Microsoft Office and EMR Systems
