What does this role look like?

Western States Lodging, Management and Development (WSLM) is at the forefront of the hospitality and senior living industries, offering exceptional third-party management services across a diverse portfolio.

This role is pivotal in expanding our third-party management contracts, focusing on the senior living and hospitality sectors.

Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and strategic expansion.

  • Strategic Business Development : Craft and execute a business development plan targeting third-party management contracts, surpassing quarterly quotas, and reinforcing our market presence.
  • Sales Pipeline Management : Proactively maintain and expand third-party management deal flow, embodying our commitment to sustained growth and opportunity exploration.
  • Collaboration and Partnership : Working inside the Revenue Operations team you will build and facilitate WSLM's third-party management deal-flow sales funnel while cross-collaborating with colleagues inside the Development Department, aligning efforts to foster external relationships that produce new business for WSLM.
  • Extensive Travel : Due to the nature of the position, this position will travel throughout the United States up to 30%.
  • Remote : Work wherever you choose when you're not on the go, with several required meetings in our Salt Lake area home office.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, business, or real estate development.

Demonstrated experience and contacts in the senior living industry.

Extensive business-to-business experience in sales.

Proven experience in building, leading, and closing deals.

Solid track record of building and executing a business development / sales pipeline strategy and appropriate CRM compliance.

Outstanding communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in MS Office applications and a strong background in other database management.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within the organization.

Possession of a valid driver's license.
