Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive informed business decisions.
Who will be responsible for the entire data analysis lifecycle, from data acquisition and analysis to visualization and communication of insights to stakeholders across the company.
Position is on-site at our Black Mountain NC location.
Responsibilities :
- Design and execute complex data queries using SQL and PL / SQL to extract and manipulate data from various internal and external sources.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data flow and integration.
- Cleanse and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling techniques to identify trends, patterns, and relationships in data sets.
- Create compelling data visualizations using tools like Power BI and Excel to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Operations) to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational and business practices through data insights.
- Develop and maintain data quality standards and procedures.
- Recommend and implement new data collection and analysis methods and tools.
- Contributes to detailed discussions concerning requirements, architecture, and test strategy decisions.
- Stay up to date on emerging data analysis trends and technologies.
- Document data analysis processes and methodologies for future reference.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience working with SQL and PL / SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong understanding of data sources, data organization, and storage principles.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Excel.
- Advanced user of MS Excel; understands pivot table generation and formula creation.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (IFS ERP a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exercises independent judgment and attempts to address issues before seeking guidance from senior staff members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
