Job Title : Senior Asphalt Sales Estimator
Overview : We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Asphalt Sales Estimator.
This position requires in-depth knowledge of asphalt maintenance estimation, new paving projects, as well as a proven track record in sales and business development within the industry.
Operating within the Denver Metro area, the Senior Estimator will lead estimation efforts, provide strategic guidance, and drive sales growth in alignment with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead the estimation process for asphalt maintenance and new paving projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with project requirements and customer expectations.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to identify and capitalize on business opportunities within the Denver Metro area.
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing expert guidance and solutions to meet their asphalt maintenance and paving requirements.
Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotations for asphalt maintenance and paving projects, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights to negotiate favorable terms and secure contracts.
Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to asphalt maintenance and paving.
Use market intelligence to inform pricing strategies, identify business opportunities, and anticipate customer needs.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, production, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in asphalt maintenance and paving estimation and sales, with a demonstrated progression of responsibility and leadership.
- Expertise in asphalt materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development within the asphalt industry, with a focus on the Denver Metro area market.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics and develop effective sales strategies.
Base salary up to 150k in addition to 1-2% commissions & personal bonus incentives
