Job Overview : A legal recruiting firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Attorney on behalf of a dynamic law firm based in Houston, TX.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in personal injury litigation, including first-chair trial experience.
This role requires a proactive attorney who is dedicated to providing exceptional client service, managing litigation from inception through resolution, and communicating effectively with both clients and insurance companies.
Duties :
- Meet with clients to discuss case details and provide guidance throughout the litigation process.
- Show empathy and build trust with clients while managing their cases effectively.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and settlement offers.
- Evaluate personal injury claims and develop case strategies.
- Manage litigation, including preparing legal documents, conducting depositions, and attending court hearings and trials.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Work independently while collaborating with a team-oriented legal environment.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience, with significant first-chair trial experience.
- Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the Texas Bar.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to evaluate claims effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving approach and the ability to work independently in an office setting.
- Team-oriented mindset.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
