Inside Sales Representative - Ophthalmic

We are currently seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative for our Ophthalmic Division. This is an excellent sales opportunity with great growth potential.

Job Summary
Use best telesales practices to sell the companys products and services to prospective and established customers. Manage incoming leads & grow market share of existing territories.
Demonstrate professional demeanor, effective communication skills and high level of industry knowledge.
Position Responsibilities :
- Develop customer relationships from leads and convert to Walman accounts in order to meet budgeted sales objectives of new account growth in existing territories.
- Develop and implement telephone marketing programs.
- Follow-up on leads from Account Managers or other sources to obtain new business. Work closely with Account Managers.
- Display excellent understanding of our value-added services and the ability to effectively communicate those benefits to potential and existing accounts.
- Deliver on-line informational training to new & existing accounts.
- Execute on Walman Optical consultative selling model.
- Account profiling to assess business potential and product opportunity.
- Keep records and prepare reports on sales activities.
- Receive incoming sales calls & process requests for information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience / Qualifications
- BA or BS Degree in Marketing or Sales Management
- 2 years Optical related work experience
- Must be proficient on the computer and in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creativity, flexibility, and time management skills required
