Insight Global has is looking to hire a Highway Maintenance Worker (NICET certified). This company is a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business with a history of providing support to several government projects.

Duration : Permanent
Location : must be local to New Jersey will be traveling in support of projects related to highways and roadways
Hourly Pay Range : Negotiable based on level of certification + years of experience
Top Skillsets Needed :
- NICET certification (any level)
- Proven experience in highway and roadway inspection, testing, and maintenance
- Comfortable with travel around the state of New Jersey (all expenses covered)
JJob Responsibilities :
- Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of highways and roadways in accordance with NICET standards.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Document and report findings, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and other team members.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
Requirements :
- NICET certification (any level).
- Proven experience in highway and roadway inspection, testing, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
