Position : Sous Chef Senior Sous Chef Banquet Sous Chef

Are you a culinary genius looking to take your career to the next level? We're searching for a Senior Sous Chef to join our client’s esteemed Hotel in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist senior leadership by taking on basic management responsibilities
  • Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items
  • Develop creative menu items that align with the brand's standards
  • Plan, coordinate & execute special events & holiday functions
  • Manage hourly kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching & evaluating
  • Lead & coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service & employee satisfaction results
  • Monitor food production & quality daily

Experience Requirements :

  • Hotel / lodging experience preferred.
  • Comprehensive skills & knowledge of all kitchen operations
  • Experience with Banquets; high-quality, high-volume environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization & relationship skills
  • Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service
  • Proficiency in general computer use
  • A genuine desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Education Requirements : Culinary education or on-the-job training;

Benefits : Medical / Dental after 30 Days of Service; 401K Match after 1 Year (up to 4% Salary).

Employment Type : Full Time, Salary; typically, 5 days on, 2 days off.
