Associate Inventory Planner.

Zola is seeking a high-energy, analytical & motivated Associate Inventory Planner. This role will report into the Head of Strategic Finance & Planning & will partner closely with the merchandising, operations, & finance teams to optimize inventory availability & replenishment.

This role is based in NYC, with 2 days a week in office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage inventory supply across 500+ dropship & owned vendors, including supervising a small offshore team
• Responsible for inventory replenishment; track inventory receipts to optimize assortment & minimize backorders. Propose inventory buys & manage to inventory turns & WOS goals
• Proactively initiate communications to resolve assortment issues & develop productive working relationships with external vendors
• Build strong cross functional partnerships with operations, customer success & accounting teams to optimize vendor & customer experience
• Proactively drive process & workflow improvements
• Perform ad hoc analysis on business trends & partner with merchandising team to identify business opportunities, risks & propose recommendations
• Opportunity to expand into assortment & merchandise planning responsibilities over time

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelors degree required
• 3+ years in an analytical role including experience in inventory allocation, merchandise planning and / or supply chain.

Experience working in e-commerce a plus.

• Proficiency in Excel required, proficiency in Looker and / or SQL a plus
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills & high level of accuracy
• Ability to analyze, conceptualize & make data-driven decisions
• Highly effective verbal & written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Team player & collaborator

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000.
