Central Health Management, Inc ., a Virginia-based Healthcare staffing and recruitment firm, is seeking a board-certified OB-GYN for a full-time salaried and benefited position in the greater Lakewood, New Jersey area.
This role will work as part of a comprehensive team who share the same values and commitment to the patients in a clinic setting.
This role will be responsible for providing direct medical care to women relating to pregnancy, childbirth, as well as, diagnosing, treating, testing and monitoring diseases and providing general care for women.
Specifically, in this physician role you will :
- Provide care and treatment to women during pre-natal, natal and post-natal periods.
- Diagnose, treat and monitor diseases, disorders and conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications to treat patients in accordance with standardized procedures and policies.
- Perform pap smears, pelvic and breast exams.
- Conduct mood and emotional well-being assessments during post-partum appointments.
- Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel to ensure high quality of patient care and safety.
- Effectively monitor patients progress throughout the treatment plan and care, providing continuous improvement on patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on importance of treatment plans, side effects and risks of prescribed medications.
- Educate patients on disease prevention and reproductive health.
- Demonstrate effective and detailed written documentation skills in charting patient interactions and progress.
- Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow up throughout the patients care.
- Demonstrate compassionate and empathetic service and communication skills with patients.
- Able to delegate and prioritize tasks and respond diligently to requests for information.
You will practice in a clinic setting and birthing center with a professional team of OB-GYNs and Certified Nurse Midwives.
To qualify for this role you will need :
- MD / DO from an accredited medical university.
- Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine- Obstetrics and / or Obstetrics / Gynecology
- An active and unencumbered medical license to practice in New Jersey or obtain
- An active and unencumbered DEA license to prescribe narcotics in New Jersey
- A clear history run / rate over the past 7 years in medical professional liability coverage
- At least one year of OB / GYN experience is preferred.
- The ability to demonstrate excellent independent judgement, problem solving, analytical and collaborative skills to recognize and prioritize patient needs and promote a quality work environment.
- Excellent emotional intelligence including patience, sensitivity and compassion to work with patients who may be stressed, anxious or scared.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Reports to the Center Director.
Compensation :
Commensurate with experience : $275,000 - $450,000 annually plus full benefits.
