Job Description :
Duties include : Assists the physician / clinician during patient visits to capture and transcribe medicalrecord documentation in real-time using electronic medical record applications.
Use appropriate medical terms and phrasing while documenting the physician / clinician'scommunication with the patient. Details the visit in the electronic medical record to increasephysician / clinician effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity for improved patient flow and satisfaction.
Under physician / clinician direction, the Scribe will update patient history and other pertinent healthinformation in the patient record and document follow-up instructions.
Must interact in a sensitive andprofessional manner at all times with both internal (physicians, mid-level providers and other staff) andexternal (patients) parties.
Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times and follow all University ofFlorida and Group Practice HIPAA and confidentiality policies. Expected Salary :

Minimum Requirements :
Must be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record. Must be well-organized, demonstrate personal initiative and interest in the overall well-being of the department and the greater health system.
Preferred Qualifications :
Medical knowledge preferred.
