Bookkeeper
LHH is assisting our client in Dallas, Texas with their search for a full-cycle bookkeeper to join their growing team! This position is responsible for overseeing accounting services functions.
This role will be hybrid after training!
Responsibilities
- Entering, reconciling, and maintaining the financial records for a variety of clients.
- Preparation of payroll reports.
- Financial statement preparation.
- After-the-fact review and correction of work.
- Interface with clients on QuickBooks and payroll questions.
- Assist with updating asset / depreciation schedules.
- Assist with preparation of work papers and journal entries for clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience, including review experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks required; QuickBooks Pro Advisor is a plus.
- Full understanding of accounting standards and tax concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Lacerte tax software a plus.
