LHH is assisting our client in Dallas, Texas with their search for a full-cycle bookkeeper to join their growing team! This position is responsible for overseeing accounting services functions.

This role will be hybrid after training!

Responsibilities

  • Entering, reconciling, and maintaining the financial records for a variety of clients.
  • Preparation of payroll reports.
  • Financial statement preparation.
  • After-the-fact review and correction of work.
  • Interface with clients on QuickBooks and payroll questions.
  • Assist with updating asset / depreciation schedules.
  • Assist with preparation of work papers and journal entries for clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, including review experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks required; QuickBooks Pro Advisor is a plus.
  • Full understanding of accounting standards and tax concepts.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Lacerte tax software a plus.
